Fast tempo assured with Zamazing, Think Of One and Brut Nature going toe-to-toe. GOLDEN CENTURY (2) was a Derby contender last preparation who resumed with an eye catching third over 1500m at Hawkesbury. Probably didn't have the rub of the green there and while he'll need some luck again in this scenario, he'll be fitter and he's the class runner of this race. STRONGSIDE (11) encouraging debut from the sticky draw when sitting on the speed for a tiring fourth over 1400m at Kembla Grange. Extra trip in his favour and maps to get the right run. HIGHLAND LAD (3) comes back in trip and worth thought with his on pace race pattern. BRUT NATURE (1) was sound first-up over the mile at Newcastle on a Heavy deck. Ticks a few boxes off that effort and is not to be discounted. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Golden Century in the opener.
