Solid tempo expected primarily from Treasure Island and Cartel Queen. THINGAMABOB (3) showed good speed over 1200m at Kenilworth last time but found one too good on the day. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She resumes from a spell and fresh-up should find herself in the winner's enclosure. BELLIGERENT (1) has shown improvement in each of her races to date. She stayed on well when second over this course and distance last time. Rachel Venniker takes the 1.5kgs off her back which will assist her cause. TREASURE ISLAND (6) has decent form lines to her credit. She returns from an 18-week spell, the blinkers have been removed and she tries the tongue-tie. She should go close. DI ROSA (14) has decent recent form lines to her name. She gets the services of a 4kgs claiming rider and rates well as a leading chance.
