He'll relish the extra step to 2400m and can break through. CHARLIE MESSY HAIR (1) placed over 2600m at Ballarat two back, only beaten 1.5 lengths, which saw him start $2.80 last time out, finishing fourth. He can bounce back. LYTTELTON (4) has had a few chances but is racing well of late. He should have no issue stepping up to 2400m and should be thereabouts again. GRINDING AWAY (3) has placed in his past two, only just behind Zedwilldo at Mornington. He can land on speed and take catching.
