She challenged strongly all the way to the line that day but had to settle for second place. It must be noted that the form of that race has since been franked. She would have come on from the run and should love the rise to the mile. With the natural improvement that is expected, she should be the one to beat. THE CROWN (8) ran a good race on debut over 1400m here on the Standside course. The obvious concern is the widest barrier position but if all goes according to plan, she should be competitive. VOLARE E MAMBO (1) is lightly raced with decent form lines to her credit. The mile should be right up her alley and from her good draw of two, she should be right in the finish. LADY GREENSLEEVES (4) showed good speed when third over 1200m on this course last time out. Siyanda Sosibo retains the ride and from her good draw of four, she may be hard to peg back. Each way value.
