YULIA TESORO (11) returned last time with a solid third at this track over 1400m. Likely improver with winning claims. KARUSTONE BRAND (6) last appeared three-and-a-half weeks ago over 1200m at Funabashi when she finished eighth. This is her first run for the Hirofumi Watanabe stable. Worth plenty of thought. PURE COLLECTION (1) is a 21-start maiden who has been in the money at her last couple of runs, the latest when second over 1300m at this track. Should camp just off the leaders. One of the better hopes. |

MOZU GRAND PRIX (1) recorded his maiden win three back and is ready to score again after a couple of recent minor placings, the latest when second at this track. Should settle handy in the run. Expecting a bold showing. SLAVA (3) did little and finished 22 lengths from the winner in 13th over 2600m at Fukushima last start, a less impressive effort than his tenth at Fukushima Dirt the run before. This is a nice drop in grade so he is one of the main contenders. MAJOR RUSH (2) has switched yards since finishing eighth two-and-a-half weeks ago over 1400m at Kasamatsu. Comes here with definite top-three claims. MEISHO POIROT (7) did a great job to score by a nose over this course and distance last start in a much improved run. No reason she cannot salute again. |

WONDER VISIBLE (5) is a distance specialist who finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 52 lengths when 16th over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt five weeks ago. Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. LOPPIS (4) did a great job to score by half a length over this course and distance last start in a much improved run. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot repeat the dose. SMART AXION (7) produced a good run two starts back to finish third but failed to live up to market expectations last time when out of the placings at this track over the same trip after he was in contention on the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. CERULEAN ROCKET (10) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. |
