HONG KONG WU HUA GENERAL ASSOCIATION CUP PLATE 1200m
SHARP PLANET (6) jumped the race favourite on debut over 1000m and was caught late by Spice Bag on a soggy track. Out to 1200m now is a bonus for him and he has enough speed to get across from out wide. Moreira sticks and it wouldn't surprise to see him go one better. RISING WORLD (12) is on debut for the Brett Crawford stable and has showed good ability at the trials. Zac Purton was on board for his latest outing and sticks with him here on debut in a good push for his chances. Can make a statement. GAUDIUM MAGNUM (10) was good in the race Spice Bag won when running on well from midfield, ending up 1.8L off the winner. He was a $3.70 chance there and the rise in trip looks ideal. Trial form ties in through Rising World as well and he can be in the finish once again. SPICE BAG (1) looks to go back-to-back with the 1200m trip suiting. Was a $49 chance there however but he can go on with the job. |

HONG KONG MEI ZHOU ASSOCIATION CUP HANDICAP 1000m
DOUBLE ALPHA (6) bolted in at the trials recently under Poon and showed good speed to lead all the way. The outside draw is a big tick for him as he can scrape the paint down the grandstand side. Can jump on the bunny and prove very tough to run down. LOOKING BRIGHT (1) has dipped his past couple, but did jump favourite on both occasions and now finds himself in an easier grade. Wong's claim comes in handy and he was very close to winning in Class three just three and four starts ago. There's plenty to like about him. GRAND NOVA (5) missed in a photo finish over this trip at Happy Valley most recently. Bowman remains in the saddle and he draws out which helps. Can feature in the finish once again and will be hard to hold out. STORM MIRROR (10) trialled well coming in and may not have relished the wet deck on debut and didn't have any luck at all. Purton rides now, he'll be better for the debut run and an improved effort is on the cards. |

FEDERATION OF ASSOCIATIONS OF NATIVE HING NING RESIDENTS IN HONG KONG CUP HANDICAP 1200m
PAPAYA BROSE (1) jumped a $2.70 favourite last time out on the soggy track off a 63-day break, finishing 4.3L off the winner. He's a lightly-raced gelding with plenty of upside, though he makes things hard for himself with his racing pattern. If he can break cleanly and sit closer, he can get back to winning ways. HAPPY BRETHREN (10) disappointed on the yielding track last start but was in good form prior. Back to 1200m today is a big tick for him and he has enough speed to get across from the wide draw. Was trending the right way prior to last start and can put his best foot forward now. KA YING RADIANCE (12) will be better for the fresh run were he was caught very wide and never featured. Purton sticks with him though and his recent trial was very good. Can bounce back to his best with more luck this time around. VIEW ALL THINGS (13) can return to his best form after a disappointing effort last time out. |

HONG KONG FEDERATION OF GUANGZHOU ASSOCIATIONS CUP HANDICAP 1200m
DANCING BLAZE (5) sat handy but was no match for the winner on debut on wet deck here a fortnight ago. He jumped a $4.80 there with some good trials coming in and Moreira remains in the irons. He'll be better for the debut performance and with improvement on the cards, he can get the job done. THE CONCENTRATION (13) has dipped his past couple over 1400m and drops back to 1200m today. He may be looking for a drop in grade, but his form three and four starts ago was very strong and he's starting in the market his past couple. Can feature with no weight on his back. MALPENSA (2) sat handy and got the job done by a head at this track and trip 28 days ago. Suspect they'll adopt similar tactics today for Orman and the form out of his last start has worked out well. Can go back-to-back. SPEEDY SMARTIE (1) can roll across from out wide and turn in a bold sight from the front. |

THE HAKKA CUP (HANDICAP) 1400m
CIRCUIT CHAMPION (5) got the job done as an odds-on pop before the break. He's had a couple of trials since and he wasn't asked to do a whole lot at his latest outing. He looks a very exciting gelding on the rise and he can bring up the hat-trick. HELENE SUPAFEELING (1) missed by 0.5L last time out in a solid performance over this course and distance 35 days ago. He's trialled well since and the form out of the race has stood up. Looks to get things in his favour again today after looking the winner last time out. Can go one better. AEROINVINCIBLE (8) just missed out on the hat-trick when finishing behind Helene Supafeeling last time out. Not much separated them there and Atzeni is likely to be ahead in the run once more. Should get every chance. RED MAESTRO (10) bumped into a good one last start and has trialled nicely since. Can go one better now despite the wide alley. |

HONG KONG FEDERATION OF HUICHOW ASSOCIATIONS CUP HANDICAP 2000m
STAR BROSE (13) probably hasn't relished the wet tracks his past couple, beaten a long way and never threatening over 1800m here last time out. His form prior on top of the ground was much better, including a 0.3L defeat here three starts back. Purton rides now and sharp improvement is expected. ROMANTIC FANTASY (12) finished off strongly from a midfield position to score in a photo finish over Super Goldendragon a fortnight ago. That was over 1800m, but he has placed in 3/5 at this trip previously. Likely to get back from the draw but rates highly on his latest efforts and can go close. DOUBLE WIN (4) is racing in good order without winning, missing by 1L behind Super Goldendragon at his last start. he's a winner at this track and trip previously and he should get every chance from the draw. SUPER GOLDENDRAGON (6) is in good form recently and has to be included. |

THE LION ROCK TROPHY (HANDICAP) 1600m
SKY JEWELLERY (7) resumed with a bang after 12 months off and repeated the dose as a $1.60 favourite last time out. The SP there and the rating he put up suggests he's a Group horse in the making and this looks well within his wheelhouse. He could be something special and this is another step towards that. WINNING OVATION (6) is no slouch however and the way he finished off last start over 1400m suggests the rise to the mile today is no issue. Purton sticks with him and he was good at the trials recently. Should be prominent from the outset and can continue his winning ways without surprising. PATCH OF COSMO (9) was strong in the 4YO Series, missing out by 2.5L in the Derby before missing as the race favourite last time out over 1800m. Back to the mile now is a big tick and he gets in here with no weight on his back. Can get back to his best form. STUNNING PEACH (8) can bounce back dropping to the mile off a 28-day break. |

FEDERATION OF QING YUAN ASSOCIATIONS (HONG KONG) CUP HANDICAP 1400m
GALLANT DESIGN (6) is flying home recently, missing out by 1.3L at this track and trip in his past two assignments. He's knocking on the door of a maiden win and the inside draw this time is a big tick. Sat closer last time out and if they adopt similar tactics, he'll be hard to hold out. INVICTUS DRAGON (2) is another who rattled home over this track and trip last time out to score by 1.3L in impressive fashion. Purton remains in the irons and he draws the best gate he's seen for a while. Up in weight now but it wouldn't surprise to see him go on with the job. CIRCUIT FIERY (1) stuck on well as a $3.10 favourite last start on a soft track most recently. He can roll across from out wide and Yuen's claim comes in handy. Will give them something to catch. LUCKY MAN (12) has to be included on his past couple of efforts, with his form tying in through Invictus Dragon. |

THE SHA TIN VASE (HANDICAP) 1200m
PATCH OF STARS (7) missed narrowly two back before a 1L victory at this track and trip in a C2 last start, running over the top in a strong win. The form out of that has worked out well and he looks well placed coming into this with Teetan on board. Draws the inside and can repeat the dose. CRIMSON FLASH (8) won narrowly two back before finishing behind Patch Of Stars most recently when settling last in the run. The wide draw is the query, but he showed plenty of talent in defeat last start and he drops in weight on the back of this. Can turn the tables on Patch Of Stars. RAGING BLIZZARD (1) has been superb behind the World's Best in recent events, running strong numbers in defeat over this course and distance. He carries top weight here, but he's well placed here and he can come out on top. LUCKY WITH YOU (4) can put his best foot forward if he runs up to his latest effort. |

THE GENERAL ASSOCIATION OF HONG KONG HEYUAN SOCIETIES CUP HANDICAP 1600m
TURIN CHAMPIONS (14) steps up in grade today despite a 3.5L defeat on a deteriorating surface last time out. His form prior was solid and he drops 9kg for the rise in grade today. Can settle in a handy position and land the knockout blow this time getting back on top of the ground. AMAZING PARTNERS (5) is hard to knock, finishing in the money in all 7 starts, winning two back before a narrow defeat here last time out. The wide draw is a niggle, but he continues to work his way through the grades impressively and with his upside, he makes plenty of appeal. GOLDFIELD (10) makes his way to HK from Brazil and while his trial results haven't been impressive, he's only been warming up late in those efforts. The mile first-up is fantastic and Hewitson has been on board at the trials. Can make an impression in his HK debut. ENDUED (3) has been flying home his past couple and can't be discounted as he looks to have his hoof on the till. |

HONG KONG KA YING (MEIZHOU) GENERAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CUP HANDICAP 1200m
CROSSBORDERPEGASUS (1) has been slow out his past couple of starts and went back to the trials since his latest effort 28 days ago. He's been strong in defeat from well back but he draws a better gate this time around. Building nicely without winning and this looks right in his wheelhouse. TANG HEART (9) is on debut for the Moreira and Fownes combination with some nice trials under his belt coming into this. Moreira sticks from his latest outing and if he can pick up from where he left off in Australia, he'll be right in the mix. SMART GOLF (2) was building nicely before a blip on the radar lasts tart in Soft conditions. Can bounce back to his best with firmer footing on offer. DO YOU JUST (6) was a good winner at the latest and deserves following up. |
