BJ YOUNG EARTHMOVING MAIDEN 1200m
Expecting Working Class Girl to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. MY TEA (1) stalked the pace when resuming at this track and trip last start then worked to the line steadily to finish second. This looks to shape favourably from a good draw and he'll be fitter for that effort off a 65-day break. Looks the one to beat on that effort. DARK OPAL (6) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1000m at Carnarvon. Likely improver with strong prospects with no weight on her back. TAKE THE FIELD (2) finished seventh when resuming from a spell for a new stable and tackling a dirt track for the first time at this track over 1200m last start. Better for the first outing on this surface and has winning claims. RAY'S SAUCE (3) is back after a break of four months. At the last run before the layoff he finished 12th over 1230m at Albany. Good effort to kick-off last prep when in the money at Albany over 1100m. Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix. WATERSHED WISDOM (7) is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: My Tea can get the job done. |

TS GLOBAL CONVEYOR & POLYURETHANE SPECIALISTS HANDICAP 1200m
Genuine pace with Esquel taking up the running ahead of Commissions and Hit The Jackpot. HIT THE JACKPOT (6) turned in a sound effort last time but found a couple better at Roebourne over 1103m, beaten one length. Should be at his peak now. Building nicely and boasts a strong third-up record. Can get the job done this time. ESQUEL (5) finished 5.5 lengths adrift in fourth when resuming from a break and having her first look at a dirt track last start over today's course and distance. Boasts a strong second-up record and is among the main hopes. COMMISSIONS (3) resumes from a spell of seven months. Has filled a minor placing at both first-up runs. Opened last prep with a third over 1435m at Broome. One of the better prospects. ROYALZEL (4) ran fourth at his latest appearance over 1406m at Roebourne, finishing 5.5 lengths from the winner. Serious contender. CATALPA (2) has claims in the small field. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hit The Jackpot can get the job done. |

HEGZ ELECTRICAL HANDICAP 1200m
Solid tempo with Star Power possessing enough dash to find the front. CASSENITE (6) finished in fifth when tackling a dirt track for the first time last start over this track and trip. Looked at home on this surface and will be hard to beat this time. STAR POWER (2) finished second when resuming two runs back at Rockingham then progressed nicely last time out to score by 0.7 lengths as public elect over 1200m at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. FAMEUX (3) made progress last start to finish second over 1200m at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. LEADING TADDY (4) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by half a length over 1300m at this track. Fitter for that last hitout and cannot be ruled out. ADRETT (5) has to be included on her latest effort. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cassenite goes on top. |

LIQUOR BARONS PORT HEDLAND HANDICAP 1200m
Strong tempo assured with Calathinite and Chantilly Girl leading the way over Grundy Three Votes. CALATHINITE (1) found one marginally better when fresh from a break last start over 1200m at this track after being prominent throughout. Can spear over from a wide draw. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot salute. CHANTILLY GIRL (6) scored her maiden win here last time out over today's trip, getting the decision by 1.2 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Shaping up nicely and she should be in the finish again. OUR SHILLAYLEIGH (5) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when eighth over 1300m at Northam. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. COCOON GIRL (9) was second-up from a break and having her first try on a dirt track when 6 lengths back in sixth at this track over 1200m. Solid each-way claims. HELL'S CITI (3) can win again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Calathinite can put his best foot forward. |

RKM ROLLER COMPANY HANDICAP 1400m
Good early pressure with Oscar Winner or Crows likely to take up the running. CROWS (1) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by a nose over 1300m at York. Fitter for that last hitout and will be a tough nut to crack again. ANOTHER NEPHEW (2) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just three wins from 31 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 1920m at York. Taking on a better field but he is sure to play a feature role. OSCAR WINNER (4) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 4 lengths back in fourth over 1300m at this track. Will push forward and is among the chances. HUNDRED YARDS (3) tackled a dirt track for the first time last start when out of the placings over 1400m at Carnarvon, 3 lengths away from the winner. Handled this surface nicely last time and can sneak into the finish. PERCUSSION PRINCE (5) can repeat the dose without surprising. SUGGESTED PLAY: Crows gets the nod. |

RGR ROAD HAULAGE HANDICAP 1600m
Moderate pace only with Dynamic One leading Tousled Crown. MY DE GRECE (9) tackled a dirt track for the first time last start when seventh over 1300m at this track when finishing well off the winner. She was off a freshen there and getting out in distance is a big tick for her chances. Can improve sharply and return to winning ways. TOUSLED CROWN (2) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.7 lengths from the winner in third over 1300m at this track. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. MYSTICAL MAN (4) ran above expectations and got up for second at his latest appearance at this track over 1300m. Good signs last time and can play a major role. TOBIAN (10) has filled a minor placing at his last three outings, most recently when third over 1300m at this track. Nicely placed to play a big role. DYNAMIC ONE (1) can go on with the job after winning last time out. SUGGESTED PLAY: My De Grece can bounce back to form. |
