Maiden Race 1800m
G T BIKINI (3) is close to breaking through after finishing second last Monday over 1800m at this track when she was prominent throughout. The quick turnaround is a positive sign - she should be breaking through today. ORANGE FIELD (5) finished out of the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when 11th in a 1800m contest at Hanshin three weeks ago after being in the firing line on the corner. Can play a pivotal role. MIRAI TICKET (15) is yet to break through in four runs. Finished sixth at her last appearance over 1800m at Hanshin on December 21. Looks to be in the right race to play a big part. QUEEN'S DREAM (6) is a two-start maiden who returned last time and finished fourth at Chukyo Dirt over 1800m, beaten 6 lengths. Should progress from that last outing and poses a genuine threat. |

Maiden Race 1900m
ROCK BAND (12) was fourth on debut then ran a better race to finish third last time, coming from the tail of a big field over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Well placed and can take this out. SAINT HORSE (14) is a five-start maiden who finished fourth at his most recent outing over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Coming along nicely and gets his chance to break the ice. DOMAIN (2) ran a better race last start at his second appearance, finishing third over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Can improve further and should be in the finish. CRIMSON BURST (5) was never in contention when 7 lengths from the winner in ninth over 1600m at Hanshin last start, a less impressive effort than his sixth on debut at Hanshin the run before. Worth each-way consideration. |

B B CLOSER (2) is on debut for the Nonaka stable. Three-year-old colt by Greater London from Happy Belinda. Drawn nicely which is a big tick. Looks set to run well. Betting watch recommended. HOLY STEP (1) is on debut for the Takashi Saito stable. Three-year-old filly by Danon Kingly from Holy Shroud. Has the coveted inside draw. Should acquit herself well. Keep an eye out for any positive market movement. WIDE GHUNSA (4) is a three-year-old colt who lines up for the first time. From an elite family that includes a Gr 2 winner, being by New Year's Day from Questa Volta. Gets all the favours from this good gate and should be in the finish. LA LA ALKAA (5) is a three-year-old colt on debut from the stable of Masahiro Otake. By Leontes from Clean Funky. Worth watching for a betting push. |

Allowance Race 1800m
BOKU MADA NEMUIYO (6) is a promising colt back for a second campaign. Is at the races for the first time since he finished third over 1800m at this track on November 2. Has plenty of upside so he should be in the finish. JUSTIN DALLAS (1) landed his maiden success over this course and distance last time, scoring by 1.3 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Nicely drawn and he is one of the main chances. SORTE AREIA (2) was in a different class last time, sitting just off the speed before letting down impressively for a 6-length win at Hanshin Dirt over 1800m. Bold showing expected again. TAGANO ABANDONNE (5) progressed nicely last time out to finish just one length from the winner in third over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. |

Among the leading chances. GOLD ACCESS (7) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 5.5 lengths from the winner in third over 2000m at this track. Has ability and is among the chief contenders. FLOW MAGIC (10) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner in third over 2000m at Hanshin. Allowance Race 1200m
G T ESPI (7) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Fukushima over 1200m. Settles close to the speed. Best figures measure up which makes him the one to beat. HIRABOKU CARRERA (1) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing second last time when he was in the firing line all the way over 1150m at Fukushima Dirt. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. MOKARA MARS (10) is back from a break of five-and-a-half months. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when 11th over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt. Good enough on his day so worth including. KEIAI MAUNGA (13) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a spell then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt, although beaten just 2 lengths into fifth. Fitter and poses a genuine threat. |

USHIWAKAMARU JUMP STAKES 3170m
RED BAROSSA (2) wasn't disgraced last start when fourth in a G3 steeplechase (3170m) at this track on November 8. Partnered again by Kayata Komaki who is building a great record when aboard. Finds a nice race and is the one to beat. SHIHONO SPERANZA (5) made a strong return from a layoff last time out in a steeplechase (3380m) at Fukushima, finishing second when partnered by today's jockey J Takada. Can feature again after that bright return. INDIGO BLACK (1) was unplaced first-up two starts back in a G2 steeplechase (3110m) at Tokyo. Improved and filled a minor prize last start, beaten 4.5 lengths, in a steeplechase (3110m) at Tokyo. Will be there at the finish. VINTAGE BOND (3) could only manage to finish ninth 35 days back in a steeplechase (3570m) at Nakayama. That result was on the back of a solid second at this track two starts ago. Expect a return to form. |

DEMACHI TOKUBETSU 1800m
A race few on chances, perhaps just one. MOZU CATTLEYA (4) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 1800m at this track. Going far better than her rivals and just needs to hold the current form to be taking this out. STIR HEART (6) is a promising galloper who got the prize at her last run before a break 11 weeks ago over 1800m at this track. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Will give a great sight. JUVENTAS (8) went back early from her wide draw over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt last time but hit the line strongly to finish fourth. Can figure in the finish. RETOUR (5) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1800m at Fukushima, beaten 2.25 lengths. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts. |

Has never been out of the placings at the third run in. Twice placed at Gr 3 level so his class should see him through. REIZVOLL (3) finished 10 lengths behind the winner in 11th place when resuming over 1400m last start at this track. Has a better second-up record and has won three from four here at today's distance. Allowance Race 1400m
CHIMUGUKURU (8) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 10 starts. Did a good job last start to finish third over 1400m at this track, beaten 0.8 lengths. In the right race and there is no reason he cannot get the major prize. SANATION (14) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths into sixth. Good enough to test this field. PHOTIC (4) was fresh from a break of four months last start when beaten 2 lengths into fifth over 1200m at Chukyo after he was well back on straightening. Boasts three wins at this distance. Among the winning hopes. DANON CASERTA (13) returns from a spell of four-and-a-half months. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when fifth over 2200m at Chukyo. Best form puts him right in contention. |
