PFD Food Services Handicap 1200m
Genuine tempo from Black Zous leading Battle Jack. BLACK ZOUS (1) was prominent from the outset when second over 1200m at this track last time out. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position and will give a great sight. COLLISON (5) has switched yards since finishing fifth three weeks ago over 1600m at this track. Will be tuned-up for this and is expected to run well. The well-related VITESSE BREEZE (4) (half to G1 winner Long John) had been racing well with three consecutive placings before last start managing only fourth over 1200m at this circuit. Gets his chance to atone. THROW AT DA STUMPS (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1200m at this course, beaten 3.5 lengths. This looks a good race for him so another forward showing looks likely. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Black Zous. |

Scope Building Handicap 1200m
Genuine tempo from No Cash Here leading Peace Baby. OUR SQUAMOSA (5) settled well back then made a little ground and finished 1.5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1000m at this track three weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time and rates the testing material. DELUSIONALDICTATOR (1) will appreciate the longer journey after finishing a solid sixth when resuming last start over 1000m here. Races well when second-up and is expected to be in the finish. NO CASH HERE (4) finished 3 lengths away from the winner last time at this circuit and gets some weight relief here. Shapes as one of the main contenders. PEACE BABY (2) is showing enough in the NT to suggest he can be in the thick of things. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Our Squamosa. |

Alice Springs Toyota Handicap 1100m
Tellez should lead at a slick tempo. ROCK OF KRYPTONITE (2) was a winner two back at this track then was competitive last time when fourth over 1000m here, beaten only 0.7 lengths. Record at this circuit is strong and rates a leading contender. The well-related FLYING START (1) (half to 2xG2 winner Pure Elation) bounced back last start and landed the prize by 0.8 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend over 1200m at this course. Has his share of talent and will be hard to beat again in this suitable race. PRINCESS PANCAKES (4) travelled just behind the leader before taking over and scoring a determined win by half a length over 1200m here last time. Solid winning hope. MAGIC DEFENSE (3) finished fourth last time out as favourite over 1600m at this venue, beaten 5 lengths. Has a solid record here including four wins and three minor placings from 10 outings. One of the main contenders. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning towards Rock Of Kryptonite. |

Ladbrokes Follow The Experts Handicap 1000m
Plenty of pace with Suits and Bonny Impact up front, pressured by Starton and Saxon Beach. BODMIN BOY (2) is back after a break of four months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1100m at this track. Should be hard to stop. STARTON (3) finished third over 1350m at Kununurra at his most recent appearance on August 30. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. SAXON BEACH (6) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second when resuming last time out over 1200m here. Has his share of ability and will prove hard to beat in this suitable race. REAL DIVINE (4) improved second-up last start but found just one better over 1200m at this circuit, beaten 2 lengths. Well placed and can figure in the finish again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 2,3,6,4. |

Rimfire Energy Handicap 1000m
Looks to be plenty of pace with Boss Shelby and Hellivit battling for the lead. HELLIVIT (1) sat on the pace last start until tiring to finish sixth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 1100m at this circuit. Rates highly on best figures and deserves another chance. HIGHSTRUNG (6) resumes from a spell of three months and is having his first outing under new trainer Ray Viney. Finished sixth at Pakenham Synthetic over 1100m at the opening run last time in work. One of the better hopes despite the layoff. QUANAPIRRI BAY (2) has been in the market at his last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start finishing seventh over 1000m at this track. Where there's smoke there's fire and is definitely worth including. LEAN ON ME (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at this venue, beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth. Has her share of talent and is a top-three prospect. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hellivit to win. |

Alice Springs Cup Carnival April 11th-May 4th 2026 Handicap 1000m
They should get along early on with plenty of speed on show. DOWN THE WICKET (5) returns after a spell of five months. Looking to emulate his win at Darwin at the beginning of last prep. Should be hard to stop. The well-related BAHAMA BAY (3) (half to G2 winner and G1 placed Bon's A Pearla) finished 1.2 lengths back in fifth over 1000m at this track last time out after a gutsy win the start prior. Good enough to take this out. EXPERT WITNESS (4) is yet to find the winners' list this time in work but has two placings from four outings this preparation, finishing a neck away in third most recently over 1000m here. Must be included in calculations. GREAT GUST (2) turned in a fine effort to score by a nose at today's course and distance last start in a nice progression on the first-up run. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SUGGESTED PLAY: Down The Wicket to return a winner. |
