WADI AL RIYAH (8) has been racing in great heart with two top-three finishes on end, the latest a second over 1400m at Tokyo when she was always up in the leading division. Can get off the mark this time. NIL MAHANEL (14) resumed from a spell last start with a sound third over 1200m at Fukushima. Just edged out fresh and fitter again. Tricky gate but sure to run well. GIOUS FORT (12) was well fancied last start over 1400m at Niigata when ninth, beaten 5.5 lengths. Turned out a strong form race and looks well placed to make amends. TSURUNO MAIHASHI (6) produced a better run last start, beaten 2.25 lengths into fifth over 1400m at Tokyo. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time. |

DUCATO (10) resumes today after filling a minor placing at his last appearance at this track over 2000m on September 28. Has found the right race and is worth including. FUNADE (11) is back from a break of four-and-a-half months. Only raced once last campaign which was a narrow defeat over 2000m at Niigata. Should park just off the speed despite the draw.
