MARTIN COLLINS AUSTRALIA Colts, Geldings & Entires Maiden Plate 1000m
Tara's Reward should spear straight to the front of the small field. Former Victorian TARA'S REWARD (4) is having his first run for the new stable but should find this easier than what he faced down south. He resumes a gelding as well and judging by his trials, the scratching of the early fave opens the door right up for him. RALOS STAR (3) had been plying his trade in town before the break and will be better with that preparation now under the belt. Comes here without a trial which is a little query, but he has the class to feature on reusmption. FACTNOT FICTION (1) strips fitter second-up from the spell and may earn some minor money. GUNNIE GUNFIGHTER (2) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Tara's Reward to return a winner. |

WIMMERS PREMIUM SOFT DRINKS Fillies and Mares Maiden Plate 1000m
Plenty of first starters engaged which makes it tricky to map, but we can assume a genuine tempo.
DAITANNA (2) placed over this track and trip last time out and will be ready to peak now third-up from the break. Finds a suitable race here and will be right there when the whips are cracking. SENORITA ZETA (5) put in career-best performance when resuming and maps ideally for this from gate two. Looms as the main danger. KHOIRGIRL (4) just ran into one better on debut and will have derived a stack of benefit from that race day experience. A strong showing would not surprise. ALL TOO FOXY (7) resumes here but has revved up for this with a recent trial victory and can run a race while fresh. JUST A SORT (3) is facing the starter for the first time and any market confidence must be respected. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Daitanna. |

KEVLACAT POWER BOATS AUSTRALIA QTIS Three-Year-Old Colts & Geldings Maiden Handicap 1200m
Plenty of pace from Kuia Ma and Enterprise Khan, with the added uncertainty of the several first starters engaged.
HIT THE SWITCH (5) is unlucky to still be a maiden hitting the top-four in all three outings to date and strikes a very winnable contest here. Strips fitter second-up and should be going very close to breaking the maiden status. KOHLER KID (1) is first-up here but showed enough in his first preparation to warrant consideration in a race like this. Expected to run well while fresh. ENTERPRISE KHAN (8) has been thereabouts in both career efforts and looks a top-three hope despite the wide draw. KUIA MA (6) just missed the frame here when facing the starter for the first time and will have derived benefit from that day at the races. In the mix. HARRYTHEWIZ (9) is drawn to get all the favours from the inside marble and must be respected from the Maher yard. Include in calculations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Hit The Switch. |

JAWA OFF ROAD CAMPERS QTIS Three-Year-Old Fillies Maiden Handicap 1200m
Plenty of runners but a dawdling affair is on the cards.
DIALIDAE (2) has been just behind the placegetters in town of late and will appreciate the drop back in company here. Will be cherry-ripe now fourth-up from the spell and is sure to be right there when the judge calls a halt. CARBONARA (1) is knocking on the door of a maiden victory with runner-up finishes in three of her past four outings. Only needs some luck from the wide draw to be playing a major role in the outcome. ISLA DELILAH (4) is at the races for the first time but is sure to be well-educated from the Munce barn. Monitor market activity. REEVACITY (8) was okay at Ipswich on debut and will have derived a stack of benefit from that race day experience. One for the multiples. HEART 'N' POWER (12) next best from the favourable draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 2,1,4,8. |

BEERWAH SURGERY Class 4 Handicap 1200m
Strong tempo from I Miss Margie, Jacka Stands Alone and Bold Julius. BOLD JULIUS (4) resumes here but the form he showed when last in work was good enough for a race of this nature. Boasts a win and a placing from two attempts over this track and trip and can run a big race while fresh. The well-related JACKA STANDS ALONE (3) (half to 2xG3 winner and G2 placed Raiment) grows a leg for hoop Tilley who has three wins and two placings from just six steers. Best figures puts him right in this contest. SHOW ME MERCY (2) is yet to miss a drum here in three spins around this circuit and will be rock-hard fit for this. Top-three commodity. I MISS MARGIE (6) best of the rest from the inside alley. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxing the top four in a trifecta. |

YEARS OF CHEERS RACING BENCHMARK 65 Handicap 1000m
King Spirit is the probable leader in the small field. OOHLALOUVRE (7) has hit a purple patch this time in with a win and two seconds from three outings. Maps for a beautiful run once again from the draw and will find this a touch easier than her most recent outing at this track and trip. Hard to knock mares in form and is expected to be right there at the business end. TAKE A BOW (2) loves this track and trip with two wins and a placing from just four attempts. Genuine top-three prospects. SILK SONIC (8) has only missed a drum once in six career efforts and is usually thereabouts. One for the exotics players. KING SPIRIT (1) next best with the claim. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning towards Oohlalouvre. |

TAB Class 1 & Maiden Plate 1800m
Genuine tempo from Love 'N' Games leading Easy Love. EASY LOVE (10) looks the one to beat here fourth-up into the campaign following a couple of solid runs in town recently, jumping favourite in both events. Back slightly in trip today off a short freshen, though she has the speed to get across from a sticky alley. Can bounce back to winning ways. JENNI MOREESE (11) comes through a hot form race last start at this track and trip, where there's been five winners from just 8 subsequent starters. KWT hops on board now in a good push for her chances and she's knocking on the door of another win. CHAMPAGNE ROUGE (9) hits this third-up and ready to peak following a solid effort at Ipswich most recently. The rise in trip today looks ideal and a bold showing is expected. CHEERFUL CAT (3) is inching closer to another win and can't be discounted. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Easy Love on top. |

BEERWAH SURGERY RATINGS BAND 0 - 58 Handicap 1400m
Good tempo expected with Royal Gladiator, O'caldino and Subdue rolling forward. O'CALDINO (4) is a stayer resuming but has revved up for this with a recent trial and is drawn to get a cosy run in transit from gate two. Hasn't won first-up previously, though there's enough in his latest trial to suggest he can turn in a bold performance. Should be hitting the line with gusto. BEST COFFEE (1) was a touch disappointing last time out but go on the strong win over this course and distance two back. Worth another chance. INQUISITOR (9) placed around this circuit at the latest effort and hoop Wilson-Taylor sticks in the saddle. Sure to run well again. ROYAL GLADIATOR (10) rounds out the selections in an open race to close out the card. SUGGESTED PLAY: O'caldino gets the nod. |
