BATTLE AX (9) tried to lead throughout and wasn't far away on debut last start over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt, finishing second and beaten 5 lengths. Has ability and looks sure to measure up. KANATA KONATA (15) is a promising type who was in the placings on debut before a fourth last time over 1800m at Niigata Dirt. Has upside and should feature in the finish. G T PICASSO (7) has been in the betting at both starts but hasn't managed to break through. Most recently finished seventh over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt, beaten 8 lengths. Worth considering. LUX DREAM (12) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 4.5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Among the chances. |

T O AL AIN (6) was close to a maiden win before a nine weeks break, finishing off with a placing over 1800m at Kyoto. Jockey Kohei Matsuyama back aboard. Well placed to get off the mark and rates as the one to beat. SABLE DIAMANT (8) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1800m at Kyoto, beaten 6 lengths. Posted good figures the two starts prior. Strips fitter and can feature. BRIGHT AIRY (9) is yet to break through in three runs. Finished ninth at her last appearance over 1800m at Tokyo on November 23 after she gave away a big start. Solid top-three chance on her best figures. LAPTOP (7) finished 11th two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1800m at Kyoto, beaten 3.5 lengths. Likely improver who looks sure to play a big role. |

SATONO ROSALIE (9) is on debut for the Takashi Saito stable. Two-year-old filly by Lord Kanaloa from Satono Axis. Should be primed for a strong showing. Keep an eye on betting. REGINA TEMPESTA (8) is a two-year-old filly by Silver State out of Ballroom set to debut for the Kyoko Maekawa stable. From a huge family of winners. Should acquit herself well. Keep an eye out for any positive market movement. ZEPHYRUS (4) is a two-year-old filly on debut by Siskin from Careless Whisper who has been a prolific producer of winners. Promising type who should be about the mark. MAUVE THYELLA (11) is a nicely bred two-year-old colt on debut. By Rey De Oro from Notte Bianca who has produced some fine gallopers, including winners at black type level. Ready to run well despite a difficult draw. |

T O GLASER (7) recorded his maiden win three back and is ready to score again after a couple of recent minor placings, the latest when third at Kyoto Dirt. Has a good association with Riki Takasugi with a run of three top-three results. Best form puts him right in this. KINDERPUNSCH (6) proved too strong two runs ago at this track. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt, beaten 8 lengths. Has the talent to produce another win. SHIRANUI (5) pushed forward from a wide draw last time and found a forward position then knocked up in the straight to finish 11th over 1400m in the G3 Kyoto Sho Fantasty Stakes. Will find this much easier. Well placed and expected to measure up. Among the top-three hopes. |

Overall record is sound when second-up and has plenty of upside with the run under her belt. Expected to run well. THREE PEACE (1) finished second two runs back at Tokyo Dirt then improved last time out to score by 3 lengths over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt. Going up a level this time but he deserves plenty of thought. PROTEA (6) last appeared when he finished sixth over 1200m at Kyoto Dirt on May 18. Comes here with definite top-three claims. |

MIKKI GOLD (10) is a talented type yet to miss the frame from six runs including three wins. Has posted some good figures so far and is twice stakes placed. On speed runner who is the one to beat. ECORO DINOS (4) led throughout for an effortless win last time. Speedy type who is a strong winning hope again. TAGANO DUDE (6) found the line nicely to grab third last time out over 2000m at Niigata. Best form puts him right in this. HAGINO ALDEBARAN (7) wasn't far away in Grade 2 company latest and this far easier. Improvement likely and looks a big chance. |

TESTIMONE (2) was far from disgraced to finish 1.75 lengths away in second last start over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. That followed a first-up win at Kyoto Dirt. In great form and jumps from a perfect gate. Well placed and sure to prove tough to beat. RED PROPHECY (8) fought on for third last start over 2100m at Tokyo Dirt, making it two minor placings in a row. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. JASPER GREAT (10) is yet to find the frame in two runs since resuming from a spell, the latest when fourth over 2100m at Tokyo Dirt. Has never missed the frame when third-up and can find peak form this time. ROUGE ABELIA (4) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 1.3 lengths back in third over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Placed to advantage and can take this out. |

Terrific race. ALANKAR (4) has had two starts for two effortless wins so far. Course and distance winner last time as a hot favourite. Has big upside and can make it a winning hat-trick. ARBANNE (6) was narrowly beaten on debut then unbeaten in two runs since. Will have come on since the break and trip suits fresh. Looks a definite danger. STAR ANISE (9) won maiden in a demolition then dug deep and just missed latest. First try at the trip but can go on to better things this campaign. MARGOT LOVE ME (7) has scored two very good wins from two tries. This is much stiffer test but leading rider goes on and drawn better. Should be right in the finish. GARAVOGUE (5) fought on bravely to score maiden win last run before a spell. Far tougher here but honest and will push forward. |

DANON KILAUEA (1) closed off strongly last start to get up for third, beaten 0.8 lengths, over 1400m at Kyoto when coming back from a break. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Has won fresh and looks a leading contender. LUX ZINNIA (9) returns after a spell of three-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1800m at Sapporo. Has ability and should be right in the finish. WATER CLARK (7) lines up for the first time since August 2. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1800m at Hakodate. One to consider. NEVE FRESCA (8) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a spell on October 12, finishing tenth and beaten 4 lengths over 1600m at Tokyo. One to consider. |
