EASTERN HIGHLANDS (2) looks overdue for a win with placings last two. One of the prime contenders in a most suitable contest. TLADI MOTHWANA (4) is a three-year-old filly on debut from the stable of Wengesai Masawi. By Buffalo Bill Cody from Lizzie Arden. Any push in betting should be respected. Has the class to take this out. DONMAGOO (4) finished 6 lengths from the winner in fourth at his most recent appearance over 1200m at Greyville. This looks a nice race so expect him to finish closer. |

Will benefit from that experience so she will prove tough to beat. HEAVENLY MAFIA (3) improved last time out, finishing 2.75 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1400m at Fairview. Meeting a deeper field this time but she is up to the challenge. SOVEREIGN GEM (1) is a two-start maiden who was unplaced on debut then improved to finish third last time over 1400m at Greyville, beaten 5 lengths. Sits handy in the run. Progressive type who is among the leading chances. ANNIE'S SONG (13) was in the money at Greyville when resuming two runs back then could only manage fourth at Greyville over 1600m eight weeks ago. Should be camped just off the leaders. Has ability and rates among the chances. |
