Sportsbet Fast Form Maiden Handicap 1300m
Genuine tempo with French Love leading the way. JEWELS CAPTAIN (1) couldn’t meet market expectation when resuming at Port Lincoln but finished full of running. Sure to have tightened with that run under his belt and worth following up. FRENCH LOVE (8) continues to chase the elusive maiden win but has been honest and will give herself every chance again up on speed. VIVID REASONING (12) finds it tough to break through. Was disappointing last start but had been threatening prior. Freshened with 50 days and debuts for a new stable. Keep safe. TAGYOURIT (11) comes across the border for Preusker after just a fair run at Donald last start. Creates some interest however with Meech booked. SUGGESTED PLAY: Jewels Captain to win. |

Brandt Maiden Plate 1100m
Firefinch and Tuffen Up should set a strong clip. JUSTADEXTER (9) returns and looks to have come on nicely during the break, piecing together some sharp work in readiness. Was solid to the line on debut behind a handy one back in March before being spelled. Gets in well with the claim and shapes as a leading player. FIREFINCH (7) resumes and makes her stable debut. Has found the maiden win elusive but not without trying, and trialled sharply in readiness. Can finally break through. AMBUSHED (6) is another resumer who struggled to string good runs together last time in but has the peaks to give this a shake. The inside draw is a plus. GERACE (8) was good two back at Clare when nabbed late for second and is sure to give herself every chance again on speed. IN OUR HEARTS (10) is a likely improver and worth keeping safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Justadexter gets the nod. |

Sportsbet Green Tick Class One Handicap 1200m
Gamadale Indi and Shame On Sue will press forward in a keen battle for the lead. ROCKTAGON (1) failed last time in town as favourite but was almost too bad to be true. Much easier this time and gets weight relief with the 3kg claimer aboard. Suspect she bounces back sharply and gets the job done. GAMADALE INDI (3) was denied by the barest margin first up before tackling a hot BM0-62 at the latest. Freshened with a month and looks a serious threat third up. KISS AND KABOOM (4) rattled home to score last time at Gawler. Has further improvement to come but will need to do it again from the back. SHAME ON SUE (5) was too quick at Swan Hill when leading all the way to shed the tag. This is tougher but she can give another bold sight. DORA AURORA (8) returned with a bang at Clare when making light work of her maiden. Worth keeping safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Rocktagon to win. |

Harpers Freight Fillies & Mares Rating 0 - 54 Handicap 1300m
Not much early speed of note and Lady Of Savoy and Little Sandy may find themselves setting a steady tempo. VICTORY QUEEN (3) was strong to the line when chasing into a close third at Clare. Sure to have tightened from that run and will appreciate the extra 100m. Can get the job done. LIKE A DIAMOND (2) was good here fresh when chasing into third, then left with too much to do last time but finished off strongly. Peaking now and can give this a big shake. LADY OF SAVOY (5) caught the eye last start when rattling home to just miss. Can build off that effort and Pannell’s booking is a strong push. EXALTED KATE (4) doesn’t win often but has improved in her last two and looks ready to play a major role. BRISEIS ECLIPSE (1) is mixing her form but gets the chance to put it all together this time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Victory Queen to win. |

Bordertown Stone Supplies Colts, Geldings and Entires Rating 0 - 54 Handicap 1300m
Genuine tempo from Mr Ferrari leading Crown And Anchor. PRIVATE JET (6) was nabbed late and then produced a strong chase at Mt Gambier to just miss the frame. Versatile with his pace and should be hitting his straps now. MY CRACKLING (9) hasn’t won for some time but has peaks that measure right up for this. Loves the distance but will need a slice of luck from the draw. CROWN AND ANCHOR (5) was good fresh when holding down a minor placing at big odds. Better for that run and deserves far more market respect this time. CROWN AND ANCHOR (5) was solid at Clare when fighting gamely to be 1.1L away at the finish. Fitter now and maps for a soft run. Can be in this for a long way. GRUELLING (2) disappointed at Gawler first-up but is open to improvement now. SUGGESTED PLAY: Private Jet gets the nod. |

Creaser Constructions Benchmark 66 Handicap 1200m
Keen battle for the lead with Dark Lager, Santastico and Girls Night in advance of Lady Dumont and El Paso Citie. SANTASTICO (2) warmed up nicely late when resuming in town, ending up 2.4L off the winner over. That looks to set him up nicely for the campaign ahead and this looks a brilliant race for him second-up. Opperman takes the ride now and from a good draw, he looks the one to beat. EISHAA (3) resumes bringing solid Victorian form for the Preusker camp. Raises questions about placement here, but if back in top order she can feature. Stablemate LONGTIMEDREAMING (4) offers a similar profile and, if sound in return, should also be very competitive. YOURAWAY (10) was a barnstorming winner fresh but failed to follow up last time. Kept fresh, he can rebound sharply. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Santastico. |

Woolshed Inn Bordertown Cup (Benchmark 74 Handicap) (Heat of Limestone Coast Cup Series) 2000m
Either Our Destrier or Chairman should find the front and dictate terms. IMPOSING SUSPECT (4) has returned in good order and looks ready to peak fourth up. Strong win two back at this track before another good performance in town most recently. Out to this trip now suits and he can get back to winning ways. HASTA LA FIORENTE (3) has also come back well and is set to peak. Expect him to roll forward and give backers a sight at a track he knows. Not to be underestimated. CHAIRMAN (5) was dominant at Penhurst when leading throughout. Meech sticks and he’s capable of repeating the dose. BOLT BY (2) is in a purple patch with back to back wins. The horror draw is the query, but he’s racing too well to dismiss. SUGGESTED PLAY: Imposing Suspect to win. |

Border Blinds Rating 0 - 56 Handicap 1550m
Plenty of pace with Dylan's Lad and Rokabye Warrior up front, pressured by Kikorangi and See De Night. ZAIN PRINCE (5) returned to somewhere near his best last time when leading, only to be nabbed late last time out at Murray Bridge. Backs up quickly and is drawn to advantage. Can give them something to chase once again. SUPREME THUNDER (7) comes here third-up and looking to peak following a good run at Mt Gambier last time out. Will get back again from the draw, but with genuine pace engaged he gets the chance to reel them in late. ROKABYE WARRIOR (4) disappointed at the midweeks when dropping out the back but backs up quickly and is worth forgiving. SEE DE NIGHT (6) drove hard to arrive just in time at Mt Gambier. This is tougher but he deserves respect. SUGGESTED PLAY: Zain Prince to win. |
