Roman Forum should spear straight to the front of the small field. Good little contest to start the day. I AM CARROT (3) bounced off his good first-up second, with a commanding on-pace victory over 1350m at Wyong. Held in high regard by the stable and can go on with it here from the low draw. PENTAGON (2) El Roca gelding who made his Australian debut with a slick on-speed performance when saluting from the wide gate over 1300m at this track. Shapes as the main danger from the good gate and can go on with it this time in. SO LONG FAREWELL (1) was unwanted in betting on resumption before surging late with the 60kg for a narrow second over 1300m at Wyong. Proven second-up and he gets a better set-up today. Sure to be thereabouts. FAST TRACK (4) indicated a win was imminent when he gripped on late to secure second over 1350m at Wyong. Looking for this trip and further now and stays in the mix. ROMAN FORUM (5) finds an easier contest fourth-up and gives the impression she will appreciate this trip. SUGGESTED PLAY: I Am Carrot and Pentagon can fight it out. |

Viewpoint has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. VIEWPOINT (3) surprised at the big odds at his second race when almost pinching it before being nailed on the line when second over 1500m at Newcastle. Can get control again from the low gate and go one better. KUMBAYA (8) struck trouble at the start which put paid to her chances when fifth over 1550m at Canterbury. Fitter now and look for her late from the sticky draw. SERPICO (12) just under a month between runs when he knocked up late at Newcastle. Suspect the stable have changed things up at home and he lands here with improvement on the cards. ROYSTON (2) will be fitter for two trials coming into this and the mile first-up looks a good move. Can play a role. SUGGESTED PLAY: Viewpoint will prove hard to run down. |

Strong tempo expected with Seven Days, Sit Down and Mind Ya Bizz prominent. MIND YA BIZZ (11) resumes after coming out of a strong Maiden on debut when second over 1100m at Gosford in fast time. Two trials had merit and can finish over the top of these. MRS FLANDERS (12) total forgive from the wide gate when eighth over 1000m at Kembla Grange. Will race closer today from the inside gate and the 3kg claim keeps her in the contest. Value prospect. SEVEN DAYS (13) trained locally, and the blinkers come off first-up. Showed ability in two trials and looks set for a positive return. DON'T (1) is on debut today and comes into this with a couple of trials under his belt. Suspect he's had some issues being a 6YO at the races for the first time, though he must show something at home to persist for this long. Latest trial was solid and he creates some interest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 11,12,13. |

In the small field The Little General or Sweet Twilight should find the front. Tricky contest with plenty of chances. THE LITTLE GENERAL (8) covered plenty of ground from the wide gate and no match for the classy Sequista when fifth over 1200m at Gosford. On the quick backup with the blinkers going on. Will take catching third-up. MANUKAU (11) Godolphin mare who returns after bumping into some handy types in her first campaign. Fitted with the two good trials and has a host of gear changes for this. Look for her charging late. BLAZING FUTURE (2) third-up for this after he struggled to run the 1500m out when last in a Super Maiden at Kembla Grange. Maps well from the low gate and is open to sharp improvement. SWEET TWILIGHT (12) is not to be discounted off a solid debut performance. SUGGESTED PLAY: The Little General and Manukau can fight it out. |

Tycoon Charger and Celebrity look to take it up. YABBY PUMP (3) fifth-up for this and gets a much better set-up today. Went back from the draw and failed to make an impression when ninth over 1500m at Rosehill in Midway grade. He's drawn well in a small field and this shapes as a better assignment than wat he contested last time. DIAMOND SHOW (1) snagged back from the outside gate and failed to get into the contest when twelfth over 2000m at Rosehill in Midway class. Well in with the claim in this easier contest. CELEBRITY (6) dominated a small field on debut when a comfortable winner over 1625m at Wyong. Scratchings make the wide draw much better now and he can play a leading role once again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Yabby Pump. |

Heaven Bound and Rose's Legacy to take up the running at a strong tempo. DRUNKEN SAILOR (9) latest run was better than it appeared on paper when eighth to Missile Seeker over this journey at Rosehill in Midway company. Well placed today at the good each way price. RATHORAN (2) building a solid record and continued the good form when resuming with a fast-finishing victory over 1300m at Wyong. Returned excellent figures on that occasion and will take holding out again. OAKFIELD MERCURY (3) unsuited over the shorter trip first-up when a respectable fifth over 1250m at Newcastle. Progressive gelding who can finish over the top of these as he gets out to his right trip. SHOTGUN BELLA (7) finished in the money at all five starts and stretches out to the 1500m today. Will tag the good speed and can take a hand in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 9,2,3. |

Valilee has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. RUNRANIRUN (5) ran up to the two sharp trials when a dominant first-up winner in fast time over 1000m at Canberra. Clearly come back well and shapes as one of the leading chances again. VALILEE (1) undefeated Adelaide gelding resuming. Looked good in his two wins on the provincial tracks and had plenty up the sleeve when a solid trial winner over 800m at Gosford. Can sit off them and pounce late. RUSSIAN ZARINA (9) resumes on her home track and gets in light with the claim. Can sprint well fresh after running eighth over 1000m at Canberra. Back without a trial and comes to hand quickly. REAL DELUXE (7) is proven at the trip and goes into the exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 5,1,9. |
