Moderate tempo expected with Dixie Princess likely to find the front over Kinky Boots and Inspirational Mac. CALEB (2) trialled well coming in but was a little slow into stride first-up, sticking on well to finish 2.3L off the winner. Back in trip today is some query, though he'll be fitter and more experienced from his latest effort. Can jump cleaner this time and shed the maiden tag. ALLA PING (8) is on debut for the Reynolds stable after bolting in at the trials at this track recently. The good draw should see her in the firing line and this doesn't look a strong maiden. Can make an immediate impact. SUMMER MOOD (5) is building nicely this campaign, finishing 1.4L off the winner here last time out. Back in trip now, but she was solid here two back under Yuill. Sure to be there at the finish. ONE SHOT WONDER (3) drops back in trip today after feeling the pinch late last start. Can put his best foot forward. DIXIE PRINCESS (4) can improve now dropping back in distance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Caleb can win the opener. |

Genuine tempo with Prince Ragnar and Southern Scandal up front. BOLTA (1) made it five wins in-a-row last time out when winning the $100k final at Ascot, reeling in his rivals from the back of the pack. He returns to his best track and trip, having won 3/4 here and with figures that stack right up in this grade. Can continue his winning run. SOUTHERN SCANDAL (6) made it back-to-back wins after setting the tempo, running away to win by 3.3L at this track and trip. He has the speed to roll across from out wide and the claim of Tsang will see him carry no weight. Expecting him to be tough to reel in once again. PATCHWORK (5) missed in a close finish over 1407m here last start and drops back to the 1200m journey. She hasn't won for a while, though last start showed she was knocking on the door. Carries no weight today and won't be far away. PRINCE RAGNAR (2) can sit up on the speed and turn in another bold effort. GOLD KEEPER (4) hit the line alongside Patchwork last time out and has to be included. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bolta can keep his winning streak alive. |

Just a moderate tempo headed by Undercover Sniper, Hot Nova and Kimberley Currency. DEEP DISCRETION (3) will find this easier than her re3cent efforts when tackling metropolitan company at Belmont. Drops to country level now for Galati who is in fine form of late. Maps to get every chance and she looks beautifully placed to return to winning ways. KARRI ON (7) gets Riordan in the saddle today meaning she'll carry no weight third-up into the campaign. The inside barrier can see her sit much closer than we have in recent starts and improvement is on the cards. UNDERCOVER SNIPER (1) bumped into a big winner at this track and trip here last week and draws to sit up on the speed this time around. The claim comes in handy and he's likely to be in the finish once again. CHAMPEZE (4) will find this much easier than what she's been racing in recently and can make a bright start for the new stable. KIMBERLEY CURRENCY (2) is better than we saw last start and can bounce back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Deep Discretion gets the nod. |

A keen contest with Be My Belle and Crystal Rose leading from Truly Gallant. BE MY BELLE (3) missed as favourite over this course and distance last time out when jumping the race favourite. Her win here two back was very strong here again and Yuill remains in the saddle. Trending the right way and strikes another very winnable event. TRULY GALLANT (1) dropped back to 1213m last time out and never looked likely, though his run here two back was very impressive. Back up to the mile today is a big tick and the winkers go on too. Drawn awkward but he has the upside to feature in the finish. BEST RESULT (5) never really looked likely here last start after a good win two back. Can return to form. DAIYAMONDO (8) can improve now third-up into the campaign. SUGGESTED PLAY: Be My Belle can go one better. |

Without a great deal of early pace evident Extra Zero may lead the way over Noble Touch. EXTRA ZERO (1) comes here third-up and ready to peak following a gutsy performance from the front over 1609m. Back in trip today doesn't look an issue and he has the speed to roll across and dictate the tempo. Can shed the maiden tag now. BLOOD SAINT (2) stepped out in trip last start and felt the pinch late, finishing 3.1L off the winner most recently. Back to this track and trip looks a good move following a strong performance here two starts ago. Draws a much better gate today and can land the knockout blow. NOBLE TOUCH (7) has shown good improvement her past couple and now gets the blinkers on for the first time. Needs some luck from out wide but looks to have found her groove her past couple and is not to be discounted. WINLOSEWEDRINKBOOZ (6) will find this a little easier than the two starts he's had thus far and can put his best foot forward. GOLD LIGHTNING (9) can improve now out in distance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Extra Zero gets the nod. |

MERRY XMAS FROM THE GERALDTON TURF CLUB HANDICAP 1417m
Pace only fair with Mystery Bullet rolling to the lead ahead of Cantilever and Odin Omen. SNIPPETY LEGEND (3) made it back-to-back wins here last start with a 0.4L victory over 1407m, with the form out of that race stacking up strongly. He looks a nice horse on the rise and the in-form Galati remains in the saddle and while he may get back in the run, he can storm over the top to bring up the hat-trick. CANTILEVER (5) got a long way back last time out over the mile trip and looks better suited coming back to this trip now. He was a good winner as favourite here two back and he maps for a similar run today. Can return to his best form. THE RUSH (2) just missed here fresh before a slightly disappointing effort last time out. Out to this trip now where she's had success previously and she draws much better today. Expecting her to bounce back to her best today. GET OUT MICK (4) finished off strongly last start at Bunbury and looks well placed here on the back of that effort. ODIN OMEN (10) can make his presence felt third-up into the campaign. SUGGESTED PLAY: Snippety Legend can bring up the hat-trick. |

Just a moderate tempo headed by Sanabeau, Miff Muffered Moof and Bayhara. BUTTERFLYROCK (2) has been building into the campaign nicely and now she looks ready to strike out to her pet trip. Her old sparring partner Altieri hops back in the saddle and the inside draw should see her get every chance in the run. Can improve on her latest performance and land the knockout blow. HARD QUESTIONS (5) finished off strongly over the 1619m journey here last time out, finishing 1.7L off the winner. The better draw and rise in trip today can see her a little closer in the run today and he remains down in the weights following the claim of Riordan. Can make his presence felt third-up. SANABEAU (8) was too strong from the front last start when winning by 0.9L over the 1619m journey. Nottle's 2kg claim comes in handy and she can dictate from the front. Can be tough to run down. MYSTICAL MAN (4) is better than he showed last time out and can bounce back to form returning to this track and trip. BAYHARA (3) create some interest landing here second-up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Butterflyrock gets the nod in the last. |
