Daniel Boone to take up the running with Jingu Express and Neave close at hand. Liked the debut of DANIEL BOONE (1) who was well fancied over the 1400m at first outing and was solid enough on speed. Fitter and the extra trip is a plus. Can go on with it. SIEGE PERILOUS (6) showed some ability in his first campaign but returns here a gelding. Fitted with three hit-outs and no surprise to see him fire here fresh. FEAR NO ONE (3) is better than the midfield finish last time. Has the inside draw here and should enjoy a soft run. Can bounce back. EXCEED SUCCESS (2) raced on speed last time and found one better. Should have the pace to be close again here and can give a sight. SUGGESTED PLAY: Daniel Boone set to improve. |

Ferrello Developments Maiden Plate 1300m
Expecting Harry Caviar to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. ROYAL INFANTRY (4) wasn't far from the winner at first run from a good spell. Fitter and expected to be in the finish. ELEGANT MAN (1) has very similar form finishing fifth two back then fourth last time. Has a nice gate and should enjoy a good run. SUPAMANO (5) ran a much improved race second-up art Caulfield Heath and will find this easier. Has placed third-up and looks a serious threat. TROJAN KING (6) was well in commission on debut and ran well for third. Sticky gate today but has good upside and no surprise to see him in the finish again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Royal Infantry worth following up. |

Racy Thoughts is expected to lead at a strong tempo. DAMAS (2) keeps finding one better having been placed at five of seven runs but won't get a better chance to break through. Runner-up at both runs this time in and at his top. Hard to beat again. MORAL TURPITUDE (3) was in the market on debut, sat just off the leaders and boxed on well enough. Open to improvement and a senior rider goes on. May be worth following up. EN FLIQUE (10) showed ability last time in and presents on the back of some solid hit-outs. Has the big claim and bold showing expected fresh. DISTINCTLY SUMMER (9) is a locally trained filly making her debut from an astute yard. Half to Group 1 winner Kimochi. Trialling well and worth watching very closely. Stablemate TRIBAL LANDS (13) has had a few goes and returns after a good break. Form better than it looks and can run a big race fresh at home. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stick with Damas. |

Not expecting them to go too hard. Lots of these with upside. UNITED LEGEND (7) is one of those having made his debut over a mile with a four-length sixth. Was well in the market. Better for the experience and the extra trip looks ideal. THESE BOOTS (6) has been thereabouts over the mile and should appreciate the longer journey. Improver worth including. BELLADRAMATIC (8) is way better than recent form. Given two hit-outs at the jump-outs and aided by the claim. Can improve sharply. SHADES OF SHERIFF (4) is a 25-start maiden but best figures can stack up here and with the big claim is worth including. SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on United Legend. |

Worklocker Wangaratta BM64 Handicap 2000m
Golden Pierro and Khabalov can set an even tempo. SEA STRIKE (1) is racing in great form, including an Albury win two back before finishing third at Sandown Lakeside last time. Well placed, honest and hard fit. Goes close. The rest are trying to work back to their best. REBADGE (3) has been thereabouts last couple but will find this a shade easier and off the inside gate won't get a better chance to find winning form. INEZ (8) is coming off a run at Flemington where she finished at the tail. This way easier though and back in the right grade can bounce. KHABALOV (6) also tackled city class latest when seventh in the LR Port Adelaide Guineas at Morphettville, finishing 4.5 lengths from the winner. Will find this much easier. Major player. GOLDEN PIERRO (5) wasn't far away last time in a better run and is edging towards form. Should be thereabouts again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on the in-form Sea Strike. |

It's likely to be tactical given scant early speed. PAT'S BRO (3) is racing in great form with wins at two of the last three and from just four career starts. Has upside on the majority of these and expected to measure up again. WHIRLWIND (4) is also in great form, winning two on the bounce. Has been winding up strongly and finding the line well. Looks hard to hold out again. SUPER SOLAR (7) charged home from the tail last time to finish runner-up. Genuine type who will be doing his best work late. SUNNY TIMES (5) is better than the form looks on paper. Won two on end over a bit of ground before a poor run and freshened after that. Needed every bit of the 1400m last time and suited by the extra furlong here. Can improve sharply. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stick with Pat's Bro. |

Solid tempo with Steely Hustler leading from Black Adam and Reward With A Rose. ZENACITY (13) is also going well. Has been runner-up at both runs this time in and looks ideally placed to go one better. STEELY HUSTLER (12) was a 1300m winner two back then was disappointing over further last time. Freshened for this and back a furlong. Can return to best. RICH LOVER (5) turned in a nice run fresh when fifth and close to the winner. Fitter and extra trip a plus. Looks a big improver. NATIVE LEAF (7) also ran well at the latest when coming from the tail. Should be winding up strongly. SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Zenacity. |

Genuine tempo from Rockbarton Shout leading Pretty Penguin. RUNLIKENENCRYPTION (12) was in the market on debut and after settling off pace charged home to score. Returns from a good spell fitter for a trial and a jump-out. Racing at home and will be tough to hold out again. ROCKBARTON SHOUT (9) is coming off weaker form but at least has been winning, scoring at last two. Has good speed and at peak fitness will take catching again. BIG DAY OUT (2) charged home to score last time. Veteran with a great record at the journey. Must include. SON OF ZORRO (10) resumes without a trial and surprisingly having his first start at home.
