Winning Edge Presentations Handicap 2009m
Party Crasher and I Need A Drink should roll forward and dictate. BEACH PAD (1) is a tough customer who won well here two starts back before a solid fourth at Oakbank over a longer trip. That effort suggests he’s still in form and finds a slightly easier assignment here. Expect him to be in the finish. PARTY CRASHER (10) ran a bold race to be narrowly denied at Oakbank last time over 1400m. He’s fitter now, and with Todd Pannell sticking, he’s a definite threat up in distance. DOCTOR ROBERT (9) next best, he has been consistent enough and his ratings fit in here. I NEED A DRINK (2) finished seventh last start but only beaten 3 lengths at Oakbank and looks one of the genuine hopes SUGGESTED PLAY: Beach Pad the one to beat. |

Sportsbet Handicap 1050m
Magic Field is the likely leader at a strong tempo. ALBERTVILLE (5) is perfectly placed to bring up the hat-trick after producing a powerful finish from well off the pace to score at Mornington last start. He’s a horse who does his best work late and Jamie Melham sticking. Kept on the fresh side for this as he drops back in trip. Sure to take some stopping. SOLAR BLAST (11) closed off nicely into a midfield finish when resuming at Oakbank. Strips fitter and gets weight off with gun apprentice in Johnstone claiming 2kgs. Likely to threaten. SANTASTICO (2) was disappointing before the break but has shown glimpses of ability. Watch the market for a lead on his chances in this return. WINNING REVOLUTION (1) is another that returns and boasts a solid record over this course and distance. Have to consider. SUGGESTED PLAY: Albertville will be very hard to beat. |

Sportsbet Jockey Watch Handicap 1050m
Reasonable tempo with Savagery Vibe probably leading but a few others should keep her honest. SAVAGERY VIBE (3) made the perfect return with a smart win at Pakenham, only won narrowly but always looked in control. Boasts an excellent record at this distance and has good tactical speed. Looks tough to beat again with Zahra sticking. LOVELY LOOKIN' (2) is a promising mare resuming for the Gluyas camp. Has always shown ability but hasn't quite put it altogether to go on a run. Been readied with a dominant Balaklava trial win and is aided under the big weight with sharp 2kg claimer Johnstone reuniting. Have to take seriously. KINETIC JEWEL (1) also resumes and is a consistent type who boasts a terrific record over this track and trip. Should not be underestimated in this. NURYS (8) has flashed home to just miss in her two runs back. Drops back slightly in trip off 6 week freshen. Watch for her late again. MISLUDI (7) is capable of featuring on best form. Keeping safe in exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Savagery Vibe will take some beating. |

Sportsbet Fast Form Adelaide In Autumn Series Final 1600m
A strong tempo is assured with Texan Windstorm and Jilladora leading the charge. UNDER THE CONE (7) looks set to go on with it now after a gutsy win last start at Balaklava, getting the nose down right on the line. Drops nicely in weight, which is a big plus stepping up in distance, and gets a key booking in Zahra. Should be right in the thick of it. WINE BARRON (15) is yet to strike through this campaign but is knocking on the door. Rates highly down in the weights and gets J Melham piloting from a favourable inside draw. Have to take seriously. CHIPSON (1) continues to race well this campaign and looks suited back to this track and trip where he’s been ultra-consistent. Can take much closer order this time from the inside alley and should take some stopping. JILLADORA (4) is in career-best form and should blend into the race nicely after settling in behind the speed. Holds genuine claims. BRAVE STAR (3) faces a tough assignment from out there but has a solid record over this track and trip and carries class. Don't dismiss lightly. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Under The Cone. |

David 'DT' Thomas Memorial Provincial Pathways Final 1800m
Solid tempo with I'm Kenny going forward from the good draw. THE GOLDEN FIST (2) is going from strength to strength to this campaign, capitalising last start with a jaw-dropping win at Balaklava. Struck winning form now and can go on with the job. FINE FUTURE (1) rattled home from a mile back to just miss in a hot field last start at Oakbank. He’s racing consistently this prep and looks well suited stepping out to 1800m. Hard to hold out with a similar effort. NAVY GOLD (6) finished a lip behind TGF when doing his best work late. Strips rock-hard fit and doesn't have to improve much to be winning but will need a smart steer from Holder. ENCIPHERING (10) showed plenty of grit to get the verdict over this trip last start at Clare. This is deeper, but he’s on the up and worth keeping safe. AMMO AMOR (9) tackles a much more suitable trip third-up and can improve sharply. Don't dismiss. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with The Golden Fist. |

HKJC World Pool Port Adelaide Cup 2500m
Expecting a strong gallop with Sir Kingsford and Girls Girls Girls taking up the running over I'm A Dexstar. G2 Adelaide Cup winner SILENT SURRENTE (1) has been freshened after struggling last start in the Roy Higgins. Her form prior reads terrifically for this and a much sharper showing is expected back in SA. SIR KINGSFORD (3) is going as good as ever, digging deep last start to make it two on trot when taking out the Onkaparinga Cup at Oakbank. Is yet to be tested over this journey but won't know himself under this light weight. Will take some reeling in if no pressure is applied early doors. BASILINNA (2) has mixed results so far this campaign but his performance last start indicates she's headed in the right direction. Has seen this trip once before when placing in the 2023 G1 VRC Oaks. That was a long time ago but she looks right up this. The freshened SENTIMENTAL FLAME (9) hasn’t been far away in tough staying tests and looks a sneaky chance if she can rediscover her best. FOX GEM (8) is another that represents value down in the weights. Include in exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Silent Surrente. |

Adelaide Galvanising Industries Adelaide Guineas 1600m
Genuine tempo with the speedy Harrumph Harrumph leading the way. SNEAKY SUNRISE (8) hasn't had much luck this campaign but has shown glimpses of ability. Brings strong formlines and strong peaks. Think we see the best of her. ON DISPLAY (9) turned heads with a strong finishing effort in the G2 Queen Of The South Stakes last week. That performance reads exceptionally well for this and she should be hitting the line hard again. SOMEWHERE (1) can improve sharply with that run under his belt and stepping out to the mile. Zahra from 1 excites. HARRUMPH HARRUMPH (3) couldn't have been a more impressive start to his career. Has enough pace to offset the wide alley and gets a key booking of Melham. Still on the up and should make his presence felt. GARNACHO (2) has been mixing his form this campaign but boasts peaks that measure right up. Take on trust. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Sneaky Sunrise. |

Thomas Farms South Australian Derby 2500m
Anticipating a solid early tempo with plenty of pace engaged. The Group 1 SA Derby looks wide open. STATUARIO (2) returns to the fray after landing a strong win over 2400m in the LR Galilee Series Final at Caulfield. He’s a tough, progressive stayer who maps well again and has been kept ticking over with a recent trial placing. Expect him to be strong late. LAVALIER (8) was doing his best work through the line when runner-up in the G3 Chairman’s Stakes at this track over 2000m. Looks ready for the rise in distance and profiles as a serious danger. FEMMINILE (15) found the line fairly in a fast-run G1 Australasian Oaks here last week race. Looks suited getting to this journey now. Can run a cheeky race at odds. AMERICAN WOLF (4) brings genuine staying credentials after outstaying rivals over 2800m at Flemington. He’s rock-hard fit and won’t be far away when the whips are cracking. The Ciaron Maher-trained SAINT EMILION (5) also holds appeal after a strong chase in the Chairman's. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Statuario. Also taking Femminile each-way. |

Grand Syndicates Festival State Sprint Series Final 1200m
Solid tempo set by Cork Harbour and Zanthron. EROICA (13) caught the eye flashing home for second last time out over 1100m at this track and looks poised to go one better with even luck. The return to this circuit suits and she looks ready to peak stepping out to 1200m. HAJRA (11) has also been hitting the line strongly and strips fitter third-up, as she drops back to benchmark company. Hitting her straps now. ZANTHRON (3) arrives in form after a gritty win at this track and trip, adding to a strong run of results here. Has early speed and should be right there when the pressure goes on. DUAL PRESSURE (2) has returned in good order this campaign and doesn't have to improve much off his freshen to get the job done again. Just needs a smart steer from Holder. DECLARED (16) hasn't won for a very long time but is going just about as good as ever. Down in the weights and draws to get the gun run. Win won't shock. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Eroica. |
