NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:03 BRC MEMBERS Class 3 Plate 1600m
Plenty of pace with Aratiri and Voracious up front, pressured by More Trouble and Becamo.  VORACIOUS (6) goes well for hoop Jones who has two wins and a second from just three steers and has been racing with a lot of confidence since joining the new stable. Looks ready for the step-up to the mile journey now and only needs some luck navigating from the sticky draw to be playing a major role in the finish. FRENCH ENDEAVOUR (11) wasn't too far off them in Group 2 company three back and has been just behind the placings at the past two QLD outings. Will be rock-hard fit for this and looms as the main danger. PIRAEUS (5) has placed six of eight over this trip and brings solid Sydney metropolitan formlines to the table. Cannot be underestimated. LUDOVISI (2) strips fitter third-up from the spell and gets the services of Williams in the irons. Keep safe. Kiwi raider CROUPIER (10) has put back-to-back wins together across the ditch and any market confidence must be noted.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Voracious to salute.
2 12:38 NOVA 106.9 Fillies and Mares BENCHMARK 78 Handicap 1200m
Solid tempo set by Lady Wardell and Hermanita. Former Victorian FLOOZIE (4) looked good saluting over this course and distance when having the first run for the Gollan camp and winning hoop Jones retains the ride. Will have come on even further with that run now under the belt and can go back-to-back to start the campaign. FEARLESS THINKING (12) strips fitter second-up from the spell and can feature in the finish if she brings her A-game. The well-related FIELD OF MYRTLE (6) (half to 2xG3 winner and G2 placed Holyfield) has placed one from one over this course and distance and looks one for the multiples. HERMANITA (3) is yet to miss a drum in seven attempts over this distance range and it's hard to knock mares in form. Keep safe.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Floozie to win again.
3 01:13 XXXX Colts, Geldings and Entires BENCHMARK 78 Handicap 1200m
Ser Joh to go to the lead at a genuine tempo. SER JOH (9) didn't bring his best to the races at the latest outing but the form prior was good enough to feature in a race like this. Gets a jockey upgrade in the form of T Clark and a return to the winners' stall would not surprise. ACRES AWAY (8) boasts a victory over this course and distance and will be ready to peak now fourth-up from the spell. Anticipating a big run this time. DEEP RESPECT (5) resumes here but has revved up for this with a recent trial placing and has won first-up before. Respect any market confidence. MAXIMUM VORTEX (2) is racing well in patches and can be around the mark.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Ser Joh to bounce back.
4 01:48 THE STAR BENCHMARK 90 Handicap 1835m
Reasonable tempo with Political Debate probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. VICTORY WIN (5) is racing in great order winning three of his past four starts including a solid Doomben victory at the latest outing. Gets Williams on top from the favourable draw and should be going very close again. DEMON DARB (9) has put two wins together on the bounce and is racing with a lot of confidence of late. Winning rider Wheeler stays in the stirrups and can make his presence felt. RISING PACIFIC (1) goes well here on his home circuit with three wins and three placings from just eight attempts. Genuine top-three credentials on recent form. FLEUR DU MONDE (6) strips fitter third-up from the spell and is improving with racing this time in. Hard to discount from the Waller yard.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Victory Win to live up to his name again.
5 02:23 MORETON HIRE BENCHMARK 85 Handicap 1400m
Good pace headed by Flashing Steel, Mississippi Prince and Blakmax, with Secret Plan and Substantial close by.  TAVS (10) was okay at Toowoomba when resuming before improving sharply with a strong win over this track and trip last time out. Is two from two here and Callow stays on top. Looks well placed so expect another positive performance. The consistent ANEMACORE (11) has a win and two placings from four attempts around this circuit and rarely puts in a poor one. Drawn perfectly for Melbourne Cup winning hoop Dolan in gate three and should be right there when the whips are cracking. MISSISSIPPI PRINCE (2) was too bad to be true last time out but go on the strong win here two back. Worth another chance. SUBSTANTIAL (3) is yet to miss a place in four starts over this course and distance and will strip fitter second-up from the spell. In the mix. FLASHING STEEL (8) best of the rest from the Archibald yard.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Tavs to salute again.
6 02:58 LADBROKES DALRELLO STAKES 1000m
Sizzling pace from Yuna Is Pierata, Darn Hot Lady and Gobi Desert locking horns ahead of Milestone and Get Ready Lass. The $200,000 Listed Dalrello Stakes for the babies. AMOSU (6) looked handy winning the rich Debut maiden race on Magic Millions day before being tipped out for time to furnish. Will have taken a lot of confidence from that debut victory and gets gun hoop Williams in the saddle. Can make it back-to-back wins to start the career. COOL ARCHIE (1) was heavily supported when resuming and didn't let backers down with a handy Doomben victory. Harley sticks and should be going very close again. TORQUE TO BE SURE (2) finished runner-up in both starts before the spell and has since revved up for this with two solid trial hit-outs. Top-three candidate. DARN HOT LADY (7) returned in good order with a strong win at the Sunny Coast and has earned her shot at this level now. In the mix. GET READY LASS (9) rounds out the selections in a cracking contest.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Amosu to win.
7 03:33 SKY RACING QUEENSLAND GUINEAS 1600m
Genuine tempo from Shangri La Spring leading Oriente.  The $350,000 Group 2 Queensland Guineas. SHANGRI LA SPRING (1) grows a leg for rider Clark who has three wins and a placing from five steers and made every post a winner saluting in the Group 3 Frank Packer Plate last time out. Drops back in trip here but should be right there at the business end. CHURCHILL'S CHOICE (16) had strung three wins together to start the career before just missing the placings at Group 3 level at the latest effort. Will strip fitter for that hit-out and looms as the main danger. WONDER BOY (2) got a well-deserved victory last start and brings different formlines to the table. Top-three commodity. BOOMTOWN BOSS (3) has won his past two starts here and can handle the rise in class. DEPTH OF CHARACTER (4) got the job done over this track and trip at the latest run and looks one for the exotics players.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Shangri La Spring to go back-to-back.
8 04:13 U&U RECRUITMENT VICTORY STAKES 1200m
Plenty of pace with Hidden Wealth and Coal Crusher up front, pressured by Rothfire and King Kapa. The $300,000 Group 2 Victory Stakes. HIDDEN WEALTH (7) is building up a very healthy strike rate winning nine of 17 overall including two from three over this track and trip. Boasts a solid first-up record and has saluted on all going. Finds a suitable race to resume here. FAR TOO EASY (5) has a strong record over this six-furlong journey with three wins and five placings from ten attempts and is usually thereabouts. Gets Williams on top to navigate from the sticky draw and makes plenty of appeal in this contest. COLEMAN (14) has recently moved to the Waller stable and has had two trials in preparation for this. Respect any push in betting. JEDIBEEL (4) has a duck egg next to his name but was only two lengths away at Group 1 level last time out. Doesn't need to improve much.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Hidden Wealth to put another win in the locker.
9 04:50 SEVEN QTIS 3YO *** Weights Raised + 7.5kg *** 1300m
Strong pace from Maragical kicking up with Apuntar close by. SNACK BAR (2) has only missed a drum once in nine career starts and is yet to put in a flat one. Strips fitter second-up from the break and the step to 1300m looks the big tick. Just found the 1100m too sharp resuming but he is a good horse and this is well within range. Should take care of them. SAMMY CONQUERS ALL (5) is one from one over this distance range and will be rock-hard fit for this. Top-three candidate on best form. APUNTAR (3) has a win and two placings from four starts around this circuit and is usually thereabouts. Include in calculations. MOSCOW CIRCUS (10) best of the rest.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Snack Bar deserves to go around short prices.
