Kokomo Rose has good gate speed and likely to set a genuine tempo with the advantage of the inside draw. RUTONWAJI (8) is returning from a spell of three months. Finished 15th at Chukyo over 1600m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Satoshi Kokubo. Best fresh figures put him right in this. MARRON CHANTILLY (6) improved last start to finish third over 1500m at this track after being prominent at the bend. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. SIENA NO PALIO (12) is a 18-start maiden who looks close to that elusive win after finishing in the placings at the last couple of runs, most recently when third over 1400m at this track. Among the chances again. KOKOMO ROSE (1) improved sharply last time out to score by 2.5 lengths over 1500m at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago. Likely to be there at the finish again.
