Solid tempo anticipated with Agent Black Hand taking charge. REZINATE (7) ran a much better race when finishing fourth at his second ever start at Trentham 5 weeks ago. He has needed time to mature, and stepping up to 1650m will suit him down to the ground. A good draw will help, and his first win is not far away. SUBSONIC (1) was doing his best work late in his first run over a middle distance at Whanganui just over 8 weeks ago. With the space between starts, he won't mind dropping back in trip, and from a good draw, he can take this out. JAWS (12) caught the eye with a solid late finish for fourth at Pukekohe 3 weeks ago over 1600m. The uphill home straight here will suit this filly, and with Michael McNab picking up the ride, she will be hard to hold out. BELLE'S CHARM (8) was asked to do too much last time out when settling a long way back from a wide gate at Trentham last start. She is capable of winning a race this season. IFFIGIVE (11) finished seventh in the G1 NZ Oaks at Ellerslie last time out, and that form will hold up nicely here. SUGGESTED PLAY: Iffigive each way.
