Luna Ballet has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. NEWHAVEN PRINCE (4) sat closer last time out at Pinjarra and was there for a long way, only caught late when beaten 0.4L. Blinkers go on for the first time today and he does have enough tactical speed to roll across if they wish. Building nicely and can go one better this time around. QUEEN SELYSE (9) is still a maiden after 11 starts but has been knocking on the door lately. She wasn't beaten far out to the mile last start and again two back when beaten over 1400m at Pinjarra. Likely to be close to the speed and the claim of Nottle is a big tick. Can get the job done this time. LUNA BALLET (6) is better than she showed last time when tiring from the front over 1400m at Bunbury. She's better than what she showed there and now O'Donnell hops on board. Can bounce back to her best. INVASORE (2) just missed last start and looks suited by the rise in trip. Watch for him late in the race. BAMBUN GIRL (8) won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Newhaven Prince gets the nod.
