Only a small field with Bellagio Focus likely to find a comfortable lead. BELLAGIO FOCUS (6) returns after a spell of ten weeks. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1400m at this track. One of the genuine hopes in the race. WIN KAGUYAHIME (3) made progress last time out, finishing 5.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 800m at Himeji after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a tougher race but she has the ability to test this field. KUKUNA ZINC (2) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when seventh over 800m at Himeji two weeks ago. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Nicely placed to take this out. STEP EYE (5) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 17 lengths away in tenth over 1400m at Himeji. Finds a nice race and can atone.
