Expecting Zale to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip. CAESAR (4) has JMac up and was too good for the 64 graders at Canterbury first up. He's won a Rosehill trial since with JMac aboard, and he stays with him. The Snowden yard is flying, and the progressive gelding can go back-to-back. HAY STREET (10) is a leader who looked a run short first-up despite strong support. Quickly made amends, winning a Rosehill Maiden in dominant style, backed off the map. Around this time last year, this fellow was only beaten 1.2L in the Group 3 Kindergarten Stakes, so there's plenty in the tank. The 1.5kg claimer will skip across and ride the speed, and he's capable of taking the next step. READY TO SHINE (5) raced handy and won this grade/trip at Warwick Farm, heavily supported. Peaks and Lloyd stays aboard. He can fight out the finish. ZOURIPPER (3) resumes and is proven fresh. Has two trials under the saddle and has further scope for improvement. Jumps from the paint and Rawiller's engagement interests. SUGGESTED PLAY: Caesar to win.
