Genuine tempo with Shark Ryusei and Azimut up front. AZIMUT (2) showed good early dash and led for most of the way before fading to finish 1.75 lengths away in fourth over 1500m at Himeji. Will give a sight. GAMILA'S RABAUL (5) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Himeji, finishing third and only 1.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 1500m. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. SHARK RYUSEI (6) did little and finished 9 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1400m at Himeji last start after being in contention on the turn, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Himeji the run before. Has raced three times at this course and distance and is yet to be beaten. Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. TULEARENSIS (4) ran a better race last start, finishing 6 lengths away in fifth over 800m at Himeji. Nicely placed to find some form.
