Pace looks genuine from Dia Graf, Madam Hawk and Transcendence, closely attended by Zendan Sky. DIA GRAF (6) was far too good first up last start when he scored by 3.5 lengths over 1500m at Himeji. Has a solid second-up record and he looks hard to stop again. TAGANO WILLIAM (7) showed good early speed and raced just off the lead before lifting to score by half a length over 1500m at Himeji last start. Likely to be in the finish again. SUNRISE WAVE (8) struggled in a far tougher race two back but last time did much better in more suitable company when 6 lengths away in third at Himeji. Finds a suitable assignment and is among the leading chances. TRANSCENDENCE (3) missed out last time when fifth over 1800m at Himeji after filling a minor placing in two races on end, the latest here over 1700m. Has a win and three minor placings at this journey from six starts and is one of the better hopes.
