A solid tempo on the cards with Arabian Rain leading the way. ARABIAN RAIN (9) is a talented galloper with a very good strike rate who finished off last campaign with a win over 1500m at this track on December 22. The first-up credentials are sound so he should launch this prep in a positive manner. KURINO WILLIAM (7) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 800m at this track, getting home by a neck. Winning rider Kosuke Sakurai retains the mount. It doesn't get any easier but on current form he is capable of another big performance. TITLE CALL (6) finished third last start over 800m at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. Has a good record at this course and distance, including two wins. Facing a tougher assignment but she is good enough to take this out. NISHINO SIEG (2) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 800m at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Strips fitter and can play a big role.
