Bruno Queiroz in the saddle is a strong lead, and in a modest maiden field, he can make an immediate impact on debut. Check the market. ALLARU (3) needed her debut run, and then ran a handy type to a neck second up at Hawera nearly 3 weeks ago. She will continue to improve with racing, and she can go one better here. WAILEA (8) is a recent Victorian import, and she has shown some ability at the trials. A tricky gate might be a problem, but she can still make her presence felt with some early luck in the running. SWIFFTY (10) cost herself any chance on debut when racing greenly throughout the running. She will improve immensely with that experience, and she can make amends. Include in all top 4 combos. MAY WIRTH (9) has yet to fire on race day, but her stable has hit some strong form, and she is not the worst in this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Fair Game can win if the money comes for him.
