Unbeaten here and both wins have been while fresh. Christophe Lemaire who has two wins when partnering stays on. Expecting a bold showing. MATENRO BAROWS (12) was well held in the TV Tokyo Hai Aoba Sho (Japanese Derby Trial) won by Energico over 2400m at this track at his last appearance five-and-a-half months ago. This is an ideal race to kick off. Top hope. STRAIGHT TALKER (16) resumes in a similar race to his only run last prep back on June 15 when second, beaten a neck. Should park just off the speed. One of the main contenders. DAWN CHORUS (6) returns after a spell of four-and-a-half months.
