Genuine tempo from Gold Jumper leading Reine Des Etoiles. OKAGESAN (12) was in the market first up but could only manage fourth over 1600m at Mizusawa last start. Big chance. GOLD JUMPER (7) finished third when resuming on turf, beaten 0.6 lengths at this track. Followed it up with success on the dirt at Mizusawa over 1400m two weeks ago. In form and looks hard to beat again. MACHIKAZE (6) made considerable ground in the run home to finish third last start over 1400m at Mizusawa. Best form puts him right in this. GLOW (5) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 26 lengths away in ninth over 1600m at Mizusawa. Well placed to bounce back.
