GOING: G(4)

RACING COX PLATE DAY F&M BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1100m

Track: Good 4   Clear (Max: 22)   Rail: True.

Strong pace with Wine Time, Wokou and Electric Evie paving the way. COTTON SOX (9) was heavily backed first-up and delivered in gritty fashion, digging deep to prevail at Gunnedah. Fitter now and still on the up. Drawn sticky but can overcome. WINE TIME (5) is in the zone this campaign, returning with back-to-back wins. Can find the front again without much hassle and gets a good chance to bring up the hat-trick. PURPLE ESPRIT (8) was dominant fresh at Bundarra and boasts a flawless second-up record. Clearly thriving and looms as a big danger. WOKOU (14) improved nicely second-up, only reeled in late. Keeps heading the right way and the blinkers go on to have her even more focused. With even luck she can get the job done. TAKEMINE (1) has mixed her form this campaign but her best measures right up. Carries the big weight but is drawn well. Don't dismiss completely. SUGGESTED PLAY: Slight lean to Cotton Sox to win.
