MANIK (11) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 2000m at Urawa, beaten 7 lengths. Finds the right race this time and can find winning form. CLAM (8) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1300m at Urawa. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. FRUITS PARFAIT (9) ran below expectations when fresh from a spell at Funabashi over 1200m last time, finishing sixth and beaten 9 lengths. Nicely placed to turn things around.
