Moderate pace from Alpina Seven taking it up with Kurenaino Hime and Veronica Persica on her back. CARITA FELIZ (6) was in contention on the bend and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1300m at Mizusawa after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. EVERGREEN (3) settled well back and failed to live up to expectations over 1400m at Mizusawa last time out when in the market. That followed a good second the run before. Finds the right race this time and can bounce back. FALLA (2) is close to breaking through after finishing second last start over 1400m at Mizusawa when he was prominent throughout. Should be right there once more. ALPINA SEVEN (7) turned in a modest performance when eighth last time out over 1400m at Mizusawa, beaten 13 lengths, after a win at this track at the previous outing. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
