From the inside gate Brilliant Spica should show enough dash to hold the lead, with pressure from Sky Peace. G T KAISOKU (3) drifted well back then came with a powerful run to finish 1.75 lengths from the winner in third when resuming last start over 1400m at this track. Has been in the top three at all four starts here, including two wins. Expected to be in the finish. OKEN DUKE (2) resumes from a spell of three months and is having his first outing under new trainer Kenichi Takatsuki. Finished ninth at Niigata over 2850m at the opening run last time in work. Rates highly so expect him to be prominent. AOI RAN (5) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 4 lengths into sixth. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. KAGAYAKI FIGHTER (9) was responsible for a better run last start, beaten 3 lengths into seventh over 1500m at this track. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
