Knife Rest, Roza and Live Ketchup to take up the running at a strong tempo. ROZA (7) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3 lengths when fourth in a 1400m contest at Mizusawa two weeks ago after being prominent at the bend. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. DERFFLINGER (6) was racing well without winning, finishing in the money on two consecutive occasions, before finishing fifth last time out over 1400m at Mizusawa. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Best form puts him right in this. BLEU CHATEAU (5) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at Mizusawa, beaten 2.75 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Looks well placed so expect another big run. ASHOKA (3) finished third last time over 1600m at Mizusawa, beaten 9 lengths. Each way hope once more.
