Tackles a longer journey this time. Can improve on the latest effort and is a key runner. MEISHO HAKOBUNE (3) made progress last time out, finishing third at the end of 850m at Mizusawa. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. YAMASHO SHINE (2) has been thereabouts without winning, the most recent offering a second at this track over 1400m when she was beaten a neck. One of the leading contenders again. STORM SURGE (4) ran below expectations last time at Mizusawa, finishing ninth. Worth another chance.
