DRAGON (9) settled last in a big field and was never a chance when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at this track, clocking in midfield. Better placed out to 1800m and looks the testing material. DURA ETERNO (2) accounted for a maiden field by the barest of margins over 1700m at Sapporo Dirt last start. Re-unites with S Hamanaka who was on board that day. Took a while but can go right on with the job now. GOLD DYER (3) returned from a spell three weeks ago when he was strong through the line, beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Fitter and sure to be prominent again. SMART KAIROS (4) comes here off a last-start fifth, beaten 5 lengths, over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. A bit one-paced but should be about the money.
