Has the speed to overcome a wide draw. Expected to take catching again. MEGA STEP (2) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with a win over 1300m at this track five-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 1.75 lengths. Lee Dong Ha scored on her last time and retains the mount. Meeting a tougher field but on current form she is one of the chief contenders. WESTERN GUN (10) was well in commission last start over 1400m at this track when second, beaten 4 lengths. Sound record at this distance with two wins and three minor placings from seven runs and has to be included. NAMSAN MINAM (4) turned in a fine effort to score by half a length at today's track and distance last time out to continue his outstanding recent form. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat again in this suitable race.
