STAR DRUMMER (9) was far from disgraced when second last start after being in the firing line on the bend over 1400m at this track, beaten a nose. That followed a win at Morioka Dirt the start prior. Must raise the bar but a big run is on the cards. BIG RYUO (12) was out of the money first-up but has since placed two on end and looks close to a win, the latest effort a third over 1400m at this track. Today might be his day. BORDEAUX GRIFFON (11) made progress last time out, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1400m at this track after being in contention on the corner. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. KITANO VALUE (5) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 8 lengths into fourth. No surprise to see her in the mix.
