Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Tampa Bay. THREE BOBBY (2) returned from a spell five weeks ago when he was beaten 10 lengths into eighth over 1200m at this track. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. WIND CHASER (11) closed last prep five months ago when he finished fifth over 1600m at this track. Will be hard to beat. EIKO KAISER (6) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third last time over 1200m at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. RYU ONE MERRY (5) is putting together some solid results. Finished third at Monbetsu two starts back then got the job done by half a length last time out over 1000m at Monbetsu. Nicely placed to make it two on the bounce.
