Expecting Ma Kan Emi O to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. MA KAN EMI O (11) turned in a fine effort to score by 2 lengths at today's course and distance last start which was an improvement on the first-up run. Likely to be there at the finish again. S K EAGLE (4) is back at the races for the first time since February 17. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1200m at Monbetsu. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. GOLDEN OJA (5) turned in an eye-catching run over 1400m at this track last time, ridden back before coming home with a powerful run to finish third. Expected to feature again. SABUNO RAINBOW (10) could only manage to finish fifth, beaten 6 lengths, at her latest appearance over 1200m at this track. Worth plenty of thought.
