Talk To Wyn should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest. PETER GUNN (5) is still a maiden, but has impressed in his two career efforts thus far, jumping favourite last start at Pinjarra. He now gets Chris Parnham in the saddle and it wouldn't surprise to see him settle closer in the run this time. Looks to have plenty of upside and can get the job done. PINGERS (11) has gone under narrowly her past couple, beaten a head last start at Northam. The 3kg claim of Catarino comes in handy today and she showed two back that she handles the heavy going. Can go one better this time. DIAMOND DANCER (8) is better than she showed last start and the rise in trip may be what she's looking for. This is an easier race than what she took on last start and with CJP hopping in the saddle, she can get back to winning ways. CHAMPAGNE CATHAY (12) bumped into a sharp one first-up at Northam and can improve on that effort. SHAULA (3) was solid first-up and can improve on that performance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Peter Gunn goes on top in the last.
