Something Royal to take charge ahead of Three Grand at a solid tempo. SOMETHING ROYAL (8) was solid first-up at Northam in a CL3 and usually improves with a run under her belt. The inside draw is a big tick with the claim of Cooper also coming in handy. Can sit close to the speed and give a bold sight in front. SCENIC GEORGE (4) disappointed last start on the Turf course here, but that was in Saturday grade where the track played funky. Should get a fairer go of it here and up in trip looks a smart play. Expecting him to be in the finish. GLOBAL TRIP (6) was too good last start and can repeat the dose. CLASSIC RULER (13) won't be far away and is worth including in multiples. SUGGESTED PLAY: Something Royal goes on top.
