Moderate tempo with Couldhavebeen leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. OCEAN RANGER (7) held his own back in trip last start after a good performance over 2000m the start prior. He was off a 63-day break there and he's bound to be fitter for that effort. ZJP's claim helps and with a kind map, he can get back to winning ways. SUNNY TIMES (2) landed midfield and ran over the top to score at Kalgoorlie last start. Out to 2000m again now where he is 1/4 and he proved he can handle the surface here two back. Looks a key player. AHH CHOUX (6) creates plenty of interest coming back from the Belmont Oaks where she was out classed. Her runs prior were sound however and she looked to be trending the right way. Can put her best foot forward back to this grade. SIROTA (8) just missed at Pinjarra last start and has to be included. ONLY US (5) wasn't far away over 1800m here last time out and is not to be discounted. SUGGESTED PLAY: Ocean Ranger can get the job done.
