Expecting a strong pace headed by Commander Of All, Sail The Sky and Across The Bow. PALACE PRINCE (5) took on stronger rivals in his last start. He followed up his maiden win with a good second-place finish over 1400m. He drops back in class and with Gavin Lerena in the saddle rates highly. AFTER HOURS (3) was unlucky not to have won his last start over 1400m as he was tightened for running room from the 400m mark to the 200m mark. Piere Strydom retains the ride and with luck in the running, he should be competitive. ACROSS THE BOW (8) ran a fair race over 1000m on the Turffontein Inside course last time. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. Worth considering. CRESCENDO (2) is back from a spell and does race well when fresh-up, including a win to launch last prep over 1400m at this track. Has each-way claims.
