Plenty of first starters engaged which makes it tricky to map, but we can assume a solid tempo. CIRCUS ANGEL (6) was scratched from the races on July 16 due to a floating mishap, so she lines up here to get her career underway. She's shown good ability and speed at the trials and she's sure to be prominent with no weight on her back. Can land the knockout blow on debut. GREY REVOLUTION (4) resumes without a trial following a 91-day let up where she disappointed at the end of last campaign. Some gear changes can see a reversal in form and the 3kg claim comes in handy. Looks an improver. NISTIRITH (5) showed speed on debut before folding up late and beaten 2.1L at Northam. Back in trip looks ideal for her from an inside barrier and she'll have no weight on her back. Will be in this for a long way. EXTREME RULER (3) won't be far away third-up into the campaign. LE BEAU (2) is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Circus Angel can score on debut.
