Not a great deal of pressure likely in the small field, with King's Way a potential leader. KING'S WAY (6) wound up strongly last time at the end of 1500m at this track to finish second, half a length from the winner. Should camp just off the leaders. Will play a major role. MACCHINETTA (4) has registered three minor placings from four runs this campaign. Was always up in the leading division and finished 2.5 lengths from the winner in second last start over 2000m at Urawa. In a suitable race and can figure in the finish. KERAUNOS KAZU (2) turned in a fine effort to win by half a length at this track and distance last start in a much improved run. Taking on a better line-up this time but he can get the job done. SPELL GASSAN (1) doesn't win very often but ran a nice race last time out over 1500m at this track, finishing fourth and beaten 1.5 lengths. Well placed and should be about the mark.
