Should be a strong tempo with good speed engaged. REDLIGHTGREENLIGHT (6) has produced two decent runs to date. He returns from a spell during which time he would have strengthened up. He is a progressive type and will love the rise to 1600m. If jumping on terms, he can go one better. RED PENNY (2) is better than his last start run would suggest. His form prior to that outing was good. He should have no issues with the rise to 1600m and has each-way claims. MIGHTY EAGLE (1) finished third in his penultimate run on this course. If putting his best foot forward, he should be involved at the finish. SINGLETON SAM (3) set the pace over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course last time, found another kick and won with ease. Gavin Lerena retains the ride, and the pair merit healthy respect.
