Expecting Shishamo Friend to take up the running with Riko Jean and Morning Show close at hand. SHISHAMO FRIEND (7) displayed plenty of early toe over 1200m at this track last time and led all the way to score by 2.5 lengths. Hard to beat on that latest effort. TOMONO SILVER (1) scored narrowly over 1000m at this track last time out with today's jockey Junichiro Agishi in the irons. Down in the weights this time and is worth following up. KAPPAGI (9) was safely held when fifth last time out over 1200m here after a win at this track at the previous outing. Enjoys a drop in grade and is a leading contender. MORNING SHOW (10) gave a bold display over this course and distance when resuming last start, racing on the speed and boxing on well to finish second and beaten 2.5 lengths. Has the speed to overcome an unfavourable draw and can feature with early luck.
