Strong pace with Glint Of Silver, Willaidow and Sandpaper pushing forward, closely attended by Sibaaq and Just Folk. NEW ENDEAVOUR (6) drifted back on resumption and warmed up late when sixth over 1500m in the G2 Ajax here. Has a better second up record and can race much closer today. Top claims. DUCASSE (10) sat in behind the speed and was left flat footed in the straight when a plugging fifth over 1500m in the G2 Ajax Stakes. Loves the sting out and the wide draw shouldn't pose a problem. Top three player. SANDPAPER (7) away quickly and pulled out plenty late with a head win over Amenable in the G3 Newcastle Stakes over 1400m. Clark sticks and has a fitness edge over most of these. AMENABLE (2) massive effort first up in the G3 Newcastle Stakes and he's clearly come back a more polished gelding. Stays in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: New Endeavour to win.
